My Top 5 Sources
When finding sources to learn about news, the choices can be overwhelming. Over the years I have gathered different sources and sources I can trust. Not all of these sources I use to gather hard truth. I always research to see if the news is true before I believe it.
5: Twitter
I use Twitter's exsplore page to see what the top stories of the day are. I would say that It's not my favorite way of finding out the news because the top hashtags could be something that is not important in any way but at times can be helpful. If I know there is a big event that day I will go on that page and see if anything interesting or important has happened.4: ABC
I use any ABC News station depending on where I am to see what I happening locally or globally on ABC. I typically watch it for an hour once a week because they can sometimes play the same news over and over again so I don't have it on long. It's something I have in the background while doing something else so it can be convenient. They normally talk about local news but since it is close to election day they talk about politics a lot.
3: Google News
I use Google News to check for specific news that I am looking for. If I see something on another plate form and want to know if the news is true, I use this to find different articles and see what I can gather from each one. This is very good for any type of news I am looking for, whether global or local. It's a very good resource for doing more research on news.
2: Tiktok
I use TikTok for news within the social space that I am in and global news. Now TikTok can be unreliable with global news but I follow specific news sources on TikTok that I trust to keep me aware of what I happening around the world. The accounts I follow on TikTok give updates and news over multiple days which is not what every news account does.
